DIAGNOSTICS

Clinical Chemistry laboratory performs analysis of almost all body fluids such as urine, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF), but mostly on serum and or plasma.

ENVIRONMENTAL COMMITMENT

One response to these challenges is for hospitals to commit to "going green." There's already momentum toward more sustainable use of resources in homes and buildings around the globe, and medical facilities are an important part of that trend. There are so many ways a hospital can go green, ranging from the elimination of Styrofoam in their food service operations to the construction of new buildings with the latest sustainable features.

CSR

AMH is more environmental friendly institute and we are engaging most CSR activities will improve the external environment too. Such as tree plantation program, seed ball program, awareness program about health care, conducting productivity programme at schools are most familiar program among all.
We strive for sustainability, recognizing the fact that "going green" may be more profitable in the long run. But it's not just about the money. We look at the entire life cycle of our actions and try to determine the true cost of what we're doing in regards to the environment. We dispose of toxic waste in a safe way, and we don't produce products that are unsafe or unhealthy for people and the planet. Our ultimate goal is to become carbon neutral healthcare institute in Sri Lanka and move to global scenario within a limited time frame.

PUBLIC HEALTH

Public health is the science of protecting and improving the health of people and their communities. This work is achieved by promoting healthy lifestyles, researching disease and injury prevention, and detecting, preventing and responding to infectious diseases.

CAPACITY BUILDING

Capacity building focuses on furthering an organization's ability to do new things and improve what they currently do. Most simply, capacity building improves the organization's performance and enhances its ability to function and continue to stay relevant within a rapidly changing environment.

AWARNESS

Health campaigns are generally designed both to increase awareness of health threats and to move target audiences to action in support of public health. For example, public health campaigns often encourage target audience members to engage in healthy behaviors that provide resistance to serious health threats.
